American Airlines is again reducing the number of flights it plans to run this fall.
American Airlines will be trimming its flight of stairs schedule again . The carrier will cut intimately 31,000 flights in November , reportsCNN , summons data point from Cirium , an aviation analytics fellowship .
That amounts to a 16 % cut for the month . The bulk of those cuts are on flying between Chicago and Dallas - Fort Worth and between Boston and Philadelphia , CNN reports . This comes afterreports last weekindicated the airline will turn off 3 % of flights in September and about 5 % in October . That average to about seven flights per day in September and 13 per Clarence Shepard Day Jr. in October .
Simple Flyingreports that it is not just American Airlines trimming its schedule . Though , it is by far cutting the most . It report that Delta , United , WestJet , and Frontier have all reduced the number of flights plan for November . Simple Flyingalso cites 11 American Airlines routes that are " temporarily or for good removed , " many of them in Miami .
