When it add up to journey , I care to be places but I do n’t like to go places , if that makes any sense . Theairportbrings out the uncollectible in me . I am tired . I am upset . I am grumpy . No matter how groovy my accommodations are , I ’m just bad-tempered being there .
I also fly very often . On mean , I am taking two flight a week . When I ’m fussy , I can fly up to five or six times a week . I ’m also often on the first flight out . I ’ll be at the airport for a 6 am flight . I will say , though , if you have a first flight out , there ’s very small traffic at the aerodrome . There ’s not a lot of people there . Thelines are n’t long . That ’s what I appreciate about the first flight out .
When I think of my favorite place to travel , I always love move back home toAtlantaand go away back toNew York City . I jazz that ’s such a basic American answer , but I will always love run low back to one of the place I ’ve lived for a long metre . But to be totally honest , my favorite seat in the world to be is domicile . Nothing hits like household .

Window, middle, or aisle seat?
Window . If I ’m being honest , I ’m not really off that often in the back of the carpenter’s plane behindfirst class . But recently I bought a flight to Tennessee to go chatter my phratry . I took my cousin and my partner down there and they were out of first stratum tooshie . So I was like , “ I ’m not gon na sit in first class and have them ride in the back . ” So I did sit in the back recently . But I ’m always in the window backside because I do n’t need to get up for you to pee . Personally , I ’m gon na book it the entire flight .
Pack light or overpack?
I overpack when it ’s for pull . Most of my travels are for drag and I usually have at least two freehanded travelling bag , if not three , and then a carry - on . When I ’m not in drag , I tamp down somewhat light . I have one bag that fits in the overhead compartment and can fit two or three outfit — that ’s what I use when I ’m not in drag .
Favorite way to pass time on a plane
sleep . I ’m usually out before we take off the ground . The trajectory attendants always say to me at the closing of a flight “ Oh , you were sleepy-eyed . ” And I ’m like , “ Yeah , are n’t you sleepyheaded ? ”
But if I ’m not sleeping , I will download videos on YouTube . I care to watch TV essay , such asF.D. Signifier . I ’ll watch those on the planer from time to time . Sometimes , if someone else is catch a movie that I really like , and I ’m sick of watching it on their covert , I ’ll switch over to watch it on mine . But yes , I will follow a movie on your cover , even for a full time of day .
Biggest travel fear
I ’m not really afraid of trip but what I ’m always worried about is that I ’ll be stuck on the tarmac . I ’ve been stuck on it several meter . I ’ve been stick before they made that law where you ca n’t be on the tarmacadam for more than three hours . I once spend six hours on the tarmacadam .
And I hate ingest to de - plane . I hate when the fight has to turn back or land somewhere else because the pilot time out on it . Like , “ You ca n’t do math ? Y’all ca n’t consider yet ? ” And now I ’m in Minneapolis with no accommodations ! What ’s go on ?
I also do n’t understand why they do n’t de - frost the plane before we get on it . You did n’t have sex it had to be de - iced before we get on the plane ? That ’s crazy . Now we ’re delayed !
Best tip for fighting jet lag
I think if you have pretty stark jet lag — such as when you go toAustralia , you ’re upside down , you ’re on the other side of the universe , and you ’re endure in the future — frankly , for one night , struggle through it and then readjust .
Favorite travel snack
I bed the nacho cheese Bugles from Hudson News . If you ’re going toJFKand you require to eat something on the plane that ’s not unsavoury to everyone around you , you do n’t want it to sense , go to Planet Smoothie and get yourself an acai bowlful . No one ’s gon na plain about an acai bowl olfactory modality . People , do not bring in fish on the sheet . Do n’t do it .

Must-have travel essentials
I occupy up travel sizing containers and put them in my bag . Hotel lotions do n’t always exercise and they always have overwhelm smells . They never have inert software . It ’s always like lime honey peach . I finger like a Bath and Body Works walking around when I apply them .
This bare my sebaceous filament without leaving monolithic breach pore on my nose . Other than this and the Vaseline , I will use hotel toiletries . I ’m really simple . If I forget a soup-strainer , I ’ll utilize the chintzy hotel one for the continuance of my stay , I will not buy a hotel toothbrush .
I need a barrier between myself and the out-of-door world . No matter where I go or even if I ’m not move , I have my headphones on me . Sometimes I ’m not even hear to music , I just do n’t wanna spill to you .

I have a few of these . They ’re so gravid , they ’re down to my knees , and they ’re faux sherpa - seamed . They ’re very warm and informal . They ’re important for me to have because sometimes when you get to your hotel elbow room it is like a puzzler enter out how to twist the lights on . That light is a push button . It ’s a switch . It ’s a pommel . It ’s a dial . You have to answer three question . You have to answer three riddles . It ’s literally always a production . Sometimes , I can not figure out how to get the aviation on either . So I will have the breeze off and I always have my jumbo hoodie to wear in case I get cold .
Even though I have TSA Pre - check off and do n’t need to take my shoe off at security , I always wear my Crocs or shift - on shoes . That way I ’m comfortable and I can always take my horseshoe off on the plane without worry about untying anything . I also like them for the hotel so I can walk around the hotel room without real shoe on , but I ’m also not barefoot .
I always have my podcast equipment with me , I ’m always podcasting so I involve my laptop and mic setup .

I habituate Away travelling bag , they ’re really nice . Because they ’re really popular , I cover mine in pricker and have a duck stencil I spray paint on them ; that style I know they ’re mine .
I always have a haversack on me . Whenever I see people at the airport without a backpack I ’m like , “ What are you doing with your life ? ”
