Last month , I asked Thrillist readers if anyone out there was actuallycomfortable in their plane seat . Lord knows I have n’t been . On a recent escape in an economy seat , both my low-down buttock snuff it completely numb , and my neck opening set about spasming . I was not able-bodied to get prosperous . The seat did n’t recline even one in , there was less than an inch of cushion anywhere my torso made physical contact with the fundament , and even with the place next to me open , there was n’t any means I could put myself that would relieve the pressure building in my back .
This was , regrettably , not a rarified occurrence . Another 15 % responded that they thought their fanny was comfortable , while the remaining 7 % shared that it was somewhere between .

The seat in front of you may run back and crush the hat . You have to keep your elbows behind your body because the laptop computer is so stuffy you ca n’t typewrite . It ’s ridiculous and something needs to be done . You ca n’t get by someone in the gangway without touching and brushing by their body . It ’s awful and I ’ve been wondering how we can get the airlines to change . They charge a lot of money to not leave your own space . "
