Though a new study suggests most people are pretty pleased with air travel, they still have key gripes.
If one only used social media as a metric , it would be easy to presume that most Americans are extremely disgruntled with theirflying experiencesin late years . According to a new Ipsos poll published byAirlines for America , 71 % of Americans are at least somewhat satisfied with air travel in 2023 . The poll was conducted between January 4 - 12 , 2024 and surveyed a national sample distribution of 3,452 adults . A crack-up of the datum show that 27 % of rider are “ very satisfied , ” and 44 % of passengers are “ slightly satisfied ” with their air travel experience in 2023 .
Only 3 % of answerer were “ very disgruntled ” and 8 % of respondents were “ somewhat dissatisfied . ” For 18 % of respondent , they were but “ neutral . ” The poll was lead during the height of the initial news program about the Alaska Airlines fuselage walkaway .
