Residents of Hallstatt, Austrian have had enough of their Disney-loving visitors.

Do you need to take a movie - inspired selfie ? Hallstatt , a small Austrian town , just said no — and it said it the pettiest agency possible .

The township — which is a protectedUNESCO World Heritagesite — is famous for being see as the inspiration behind the iconicDisneymovieFrozen . It is place to one   specific site that has grown popular among social media users and selfie enthusiasts thanks to its veryFrozen - like vista , which resembles that of the motion picture ’s kingdom of Arendelle . Ever since the movie was release in 2013 , visitant numbers to the Austrian town increased exponentially .

But after one too many selfies , Hallstatt locals reached the breaking point . AsEuro Newsreports , Hallstatt decided to put up a wooden fencing to block the view and forbid tourists from posing and take selfies or exposure in the popular spot . Reportedly , the townsfolk ’s occupier could n’t deport the noise and world-wide disruption because of the tourists , and so they decide to do what they thought it was best to keep them at bay .

The move , though , was to a great extent criticized , and the fence has since been murder due to the on-line protestation .
