Back in 2021 , I wanted to draw together with my younger babe , then 16 and 13 . At around a tenner old than both of them , our age difference sometimes means there ’s a generation gap in our interests . But there ’s one thing that depressed women in their mid - twenties and teenaged girls both have intercourse , deeply : Vampire Media . I read theVampire Diariesbooks and then eagerly wait the show to air on CW back in 2009 . Thanks toNetflix , the show got a second life and made it to teens like my sisters .
So , I accept them on our first ever sister trip to Covington , Georgia . The town is 45 second outside of Atlanta , and has a very of import call to fame . The Ithiel Town serve as the fictional Mystic Falls for all eight season and became infamous with fans . Between 2009 and 2017 , and well after the show stopped air , Elena lovers and Stefan haters flock to the little Georgia Ithiel Town to get a facial expression at where all of the vampire drama took place .
On our slip , we got to visit the Mystic Grill , the master bent out from Vampire Diaries .
