Unlike the last couple of editions , this week I ’m ditching the themed prompting and last for something different , in the name of fair-mindedness . There are so , so , so many iconictourist trapsaround the world that it would be silly to throttle ourselves . I ’m not saying that I will be able to get to all of them , of course . But I ’d like to try , at the very least , to mark the portfolio .

The Leaning Tower of Pisa—Pisa, Italy
How interfering it get : Pretty busy , with some dense moments , too . What the atmospheric condition was like : Ideal , if you ask me . Mostly sunny and with an fair temperature of roughly 70 degrees . Google Reviews to mention : " We were here in 2007 and then again just a brace weeks ago , " say a recent visitant . " We forgot how great it was . The Little Mermaid Statue—Copenhagen, Denmark
How busy it got : It ’s basically always busy . Many blogs will warn you about " hordes of people . “What the weather was like : Partially cloudy with some rainwater . Temperature average around the low 50 . Google Reviews to take note : To some , it is n’t super exciting to see . " The mermaid in itself is not wow , but it ’s border by beautiful infinite , " said one visitant . Others disagree : " Everyone say it ’s smaller than they expected , but I think it was great . “Social media highlights to note : Yeah , I think … Here you go . Overall vibe scotch : It could be better , but it could be worse , too . 5.5/10
The Great Pyramid of Giza—Giza, Egypt
How busy it get : Not too busy , but it tends to crowd up in the morning , since that ’s when the heating is less intense . What the weather was like : What do you remember ? It ’s the desert — temperature in the 80s and sunny!Google Reviews to note : While it is , as some people put it , " absolutely stunning to see in person , " it is also " very blistering . " Bring your water , lather yourself in sunscreen , and wear a hat!Social medium highlighting to mark : You ca n’t climb it , butthis dog certain could . Overall vibe score : Not too shabby . 7.5/10
Niagara Falls—USA, Canada
How busy it got : We’re right preceding peak season ( which ends in September ) , so it was n’t too bad . What the conditions was like : Chilly ( average temperatures in the low fifty ) but mostly sunny . Google Reviews to note : People love it , and call it a " must - see " on TripAdvisor . As one late visitor puts it , " get your tourist vibe on and go with the flowing , " because it ’s worth it . Social media highlights to observe : This is what thenearby Niagara Whirlpoollooks like in the fall , by the way . Stunning . Overall vibe score : passably high . 8/10
Patong Beach—Phuket, Thailand
How busy it got : On average , October is n’t the most popular month , so bunch are usually smaller . What the weather was like : Humid , hot ( in the eighty , on average ) , and mostly muddy . Google Reviews to note : On TripAdvisor , many late visitor were not divert . " poorly , tacky , loud , gloomy - brow , cheeky , hick , trashy , cheap , horrifying , sleazy , unpleasant , " wrote one very self-opinionated tourist . The Blarney Stone—Cork, Ireland
How meddlesome it got : fairly busy ! Ireland is very popular in the autumn , after all . What the weather was like : Some Lord’s Day , some clouds , some rainwater . Temperatures averaging in the fifty . Google Reviews to take down : Reportedly , the gemstone itself is alright , but what ’s really cool are its environment . " Castle and grounds are beautiful , " said one recent visitor . " The stone is okay but the gardens are incredible and all-encompassing . " Another tourist agrees : " The earth alone get a five [ out of five ] ! There is so much to see in and around the castle ! " they aver . " The rock itself is kind of iffy .
